Allocations: CUJF distributes funds donated by the local community to worthy organizations through the Allocations Committee process described in the Annual Report/Allocations Guide. For a short summary of this year's allocations, see the Allocations Summary.
Communications: CUJF publishes a weekly email bulletin, a monthly calendar, and an annual report that reach 600 Jewish households and organizations in East Central Illinois. It also maintains a Facebook page in order to provide the most up-to-date news.
Community Events: CUJF sponsors community events, such as an annual dinner, Federation Shabbat, a Summer Camp Fair and a community-wide Yom Ha'atzmaut celebration.
Camp Scholarships: Through its Human Services Committee and the CU Jewish Endowment Foundation (CUJEF), CUJF provides need-based grants, scholarships for first time campers, and funds for youth travel to Israel. The application may be downloaded here.
Leadership Grants: Through its Leadership Development Committee and CUJEF, CUJF awards grants that enable young leaders to attend workshops and conferences.
Nominations: The Nominations Committee recruits new members for the CUJF Board of Directors and presents a slate of nominees to the community membership for election at the Annual Meeting.
