Illini Hillel Celebrates Purim with Purim Drag Show 3.0

 

Wednesday, March 4, 9:00 pm @ Canopy Club

 

Illini Hillel is hosting 3rd Annual Purim Drag Show, featuring fabulous host Indigo Blue and local and student drag performers telling the story of the holiday through their acts. Tickets are $5, proceeds will go to Uniting Pride, the local LGBTQ+ community center. Buy tickets here ahead of time or pay at the door. Bring your friends!

Dress in costume, play games, win prize tickets and more. In an effort to reduce plastic waste, tickets will be redeemable for some small prizes. Pizza lunch will be available after 12:00 pm. Please bring cash or check, punch card for games and food available for purchase. If you are interested in running a game, please contact Rabbi Jody.

 

 

Erev Purim

 

Monday, March 9, 5:30 pm @ Sinai Temple

 

Erev Purim will begin with a potluck dinner. Temple will provide the entrée, you provide a dish to share. Following dinner, a fabulous Purim Shpiel, based on the popular musical, “Annie”. After the shpiel, stick around as the ETM conducts a reading of the full Megillah! Please RSVP and sign up for what you plan to bring.

Join Illini Chabad to celebrate the festive holiday of Purim! There will be megillah reading, hamantashen, finger foods, and more! $1 drinks for 21+ No cover until 10:00 pm with wristband. You Must Fill Out This Form to Get Your Wristband. Come in costume to join the fun!
