Meet the Team

The Human Service Committee

For more than 40 years, the Human Services Committee (HSC) has worked to help address our community's diverse human needs by evaluating the concerns that community members express and referring individuals to the most appropriate resources available.

Within the budget limits and consistent with its policies, HSC may also provide assistance for emergency needs relating to food, housing, childcare, transportation, and medical care.

To learn more or request assistance, please contact the CUJF office.

Why I do this work

As both a social worker and a proud member of the Jewish community, I believe in the power of connection, continuity, and care. I am passionate about creating safe, inclusive spaces where people feel heard, supported, and empowered, especially during life’s most vulnerable moments.
