$100 prize for 5 Best-In-Show Winners are Supporting Adults.
With nearly 60 entries this year, students submitted a variety of original artwork, poetry, prose, film and music creations. Projects featured resisters, liberators, rescuers, survivors and victims of the Holocaust, honoring their legacy through creative pursuits while learning about this difficult yet important history. Students from 8 Illinois school districts participated with the support of their teachers and parents. Congratulations to ALL the students who participated in our contest and our sincerest gratitude to all who helped students enter.

About the Through Their Eyes: Holocaust Arts & Writing Contest
“When students connect to individuals impacted by the Holocaust, that’s when it becomes important to them. It is hard to conceptualize the millions of people killed during the Holocaust, but learning the story of one person or group of people is manageable, more personal.”
Rebecca Lawson, Contest Coordinator
