Elizabeth Hess

Elizabeth Hess currently serves as the Editor-In-Chief of Chambana Today. As a proud Champaign -Urbana native, Elizabeth has always had a passion for sharing the stories that shape her community. A product of Sinai Temple, she was Bat Mitzvahed and confirmed there, laying the foundation for a deep connection to her roots. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and sixteen years living in Chicago, she packed up her husband, son, cat, and fish and moved back to the area.

When she's not working, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family, lounging around with her rescue pets, taking dance classes (even though she's admittedly not very good), or eating out.
